Guys I've got a board that has a console on ttyS5. I think that is related to the problem. When I run KDB 4.4 on i386 arch, I get the following output: Kernel command line: root=/dev/nfs ip=dhcp console=ttyS5,115200n8 Here's the dmesg: kdb: Initialization failed - no console. kdb is disabled. kdb version 4.4 by Keith Owens, Scott Lurndal.
