I know, but those systems are getting a free ride off KDB at the
moment.  They expect SGI to maintain the USB code for KDB, even though
SGI IA64 boxes do not need USB support.  I have asked several times for
people to support the USB code in KDB, especially for 2.5 kernels and
nobody has volunteered.

Steven Dake has offered to help with USB for KDB on 2.4 kernels, but
not for 2.5 kernels.  Bottom line, if there is no community help to
support this code then it gets dropped.
