Thanks for the pointer! While I looked at it quickly, my mind has quite
got wrapped around it yet. Complexity is the bugaboo of serious debugging
and any precedents for problem solving are a good thing. In the development
of Jessie (and its predecessor Nessie), we often backed off and asked to
"what would netscape do?" or "how would Quicken do it?". Whether or not
you like these products, they are standards for user interface interaction
for the masses.
