Mrs. Pam Gray
42 Moi Road,
Nairobi, Kenya
Good Day,
With warm heart and sincere intentions my family and I offer our friendship, greetings, as we hope this letter meets you in good time. It will be surprising to you to receive this proposal from me since you do not know me personally. However, I am sincerely seeking your confidence in this transaction, which I propose with my free mind and as a person of integrity.
My name is Mrs. Pam Gray the wife of Mr. John Anthony, a farmer from Zimbabwe, murdered in the land dispute in my country. As led by my instinct, I decided to contact you through email, after searching for contacts via the internet, as it is the only means I can contact somebody since I am cutting off ties with Zimbabwe for now. I apologize if this is not acceptable to you.
The purpose of this letter is to seek your most needed assistance in a business venture involving the transfer of family funds overseas. Due to the land and political problems in Zimbabwe, as a result of President Robert Mugabe's introduction of new Land Reform Act wholly affecting the rich white farmers and the few rich black farmers. Actually all white farmers were asked to surrender their farms to the government for re-distribution to his political party members and my father though black was the treasury of the farmers association and a strong member of an opposition party that did not support the president's idea.
Thereafter he then ordered his party members and the police under his pay row to invade my father's farm including that of other people and burn down everything in the farms. They killed my husband and took away a lot of items from his farm. After the death of my husband, we were forced to flee to Kenya, which is my homeland.
Before my husbands death he over the years accumulated a total sum of US$15,000,000.00 In South Africa for safekeeping. The will documents has a certificate of deposit, confirming the existence of the money totalling Fifteen Million United States Dollars for the purchase of land, new machines and chemicals etc for the establishment of new farms in Kenya.
With the new development I need to transfer this money overseas for proper investment since I am not a farmer, and cannot continue with my husbands line of business. Currently my son Mr. Mark Anthony is in South Africa where he is currently seeking political asylum. Because of his status as a political asylum seeker he is not allowed by the law of South Africa to do certain financial transaction that prompted us to seek the assistance of a foreign business person or a genuine and sincere person to assist in the movement of the funds overseas.
You have to understand that this decision taken by me is a very big and brave one, and it entrusts my future in your hands, as a result of the safe keeping of this money. If you accept to assist me, all I want you to do for me, is to assist with arrangements to claim the funds and move it overseas.
For your assistance, my family have two options for you. Firstly you can choose to have 20% of the total sum for your assistance, or you can go into partnership with us for the proper profitable investment of the money in your country. Whichever the option you want, please notify me in your reply. We have also set aside 10 % of this money for all kinds of expenses that could arise in the process of this transaction. If you prefer to accept the 20% for your moral and financial assistance then the balance will be for my family investment.
Please, I want you to maintain absolute secrecy for the purpose of this transaction. Your reply should be sent to my sons’ private email address only manthfamily@xxxxxxxxxxx or you can reach him telephonically in South Africa on his private line Tel: +27-83-347-7164 including your personal details (full names, physical address, phone and fax numbers) for confidential communication.
Thanks as we look forward to good, strong and long lasting business and family relationship between us all in the near future.
Yours faithfully,
Pam Gray
