I am trying to build open inventor 2.1.5-10 on a solaris 9 box. I got
all the prereqs installed, applied Vincent Cojot's wonderful patch,
tweaked ivcommondefs for my own configuration, and get mostly through
the gmake until I get this:
g++ -L/dsw/open_inventor-2.1.5-10//usr/local/lib -L/usr/openwin/lib
-L/usr/sfw/lib -L/tps/lib -L/dsw/libiconv-1.8/lib Main.o ClassDef.o
Man.o Reader.o Writer.o BuildIssues.o -lInventor -o ivman

obviously, it is not finding libiconv & libiconv_open. The libraries
include libiconv 1.8. Does this require a newer release of libiconv??
Am I doing missing something else?
thanks in advance,
