As the error message suggests, it is a bug in the dynamic linker.  I've
seen this when an app was compiled against a libGL that links aginst
libpthread and then moves to a machine that has a libGL that doesn't link
against libpthread.  That may or may not be the case here.  It may be a
more generic than that.  Who knows.  I'd chase down the pthread idea in
one of two ways:

1) compile ivview on your machine with your libGL.

or 

2) if you're using sw-only Mesa, you can re-compile Mesa without pthreads.
Look in the Mesa READMEs / Makefiles for how to do this

I'm willing to bet that #1 will work for ya.
