Hi!

Conures - " Conures are a diverse, loosely-defined group of medium-sized to small New World parrots belonging to several genera within a long-tailed group within the New World Parrot subfamily Arinae. The term "conure" is used primarily in aviculture, though has appeared in some scientific journals. The American Ornithologists' Union uses the generic term "parakeet" for all species termed Conure elsewhere, although Joseph Forshaw, in his Parrots of the World, uses the term "conure". They are large parakeets native to Central and South America. For parrots, Conures are lightly built, with long tails (Conure literally means 'cone tail') and small, strong beaks. They have a diverse range of colours. "
