Inventor compile problem

I am using Mesa 4.0.3.
  when I compiled inventor 2.1.5.9, i got the
following error message:
  when compiling InvertorXt, It complained it can not
find the defination of four functions in
libInventor.so:
  gluTessBeginPolygon
  gluTessEndPolygon
  ...
  
  
what I did:
export IVROOT='/'
make
