I am using an NVIDIA Quadro4 xgl graphics card and would like to be able
to use it's hardware overlay context capabilities. I also have a
fireGL3 graphics card and it uses 8 bit overlay planes and looks quite
nice with open inventor. However, the NVIDIA Quadro4 xgl uses 16 bit
overlay planes and I am not able, so far, to use overlay's with
inventor. I thank you in advance for any help you may provide.
