Hi,
When I install the inventor rpms (latest and greatest) on a RH6.2 machine
I get the following error when I try to launch ivview :
BUG IN DYNAMIC LINKER ld.so: dl-version.c: 210: _dl_check_map_versions:
Assertion `needed != ((void *)0)' failed!
- and simply doing an ldd on the binary will cause the same problem.
Does anyone know if there's an easy workaround for that ? My glibc version
is too new (glibc-2.1.3-15) compared to the stated dependency in the FAQ,
but I was hoping that SGI rpms would at least work on SGI's machines (SGI
550, vanilla installation) ...
