On IRIX the eoe for ViewKit gets installed by default.
On Linux (and a few other unices) you get can ViewKit from ICS
(www.ics.com).
ViewKit can certainly be used with Inventor. RapidApp (an IRIX only app)
demonstrates how easy it is to use Inventor and ViewKit together (try drag
and drop!)
Someday we may include an example program (that lives in the
apps/demos/blobber directory) that demonstrates this but we did not
include this code in the initial Open Source release.
