I'm actually working on such a program. I have it working, but I want to add
a few more features before I release it. It will be open source. It's
written in perl.
The original intent is to have a program that can keep multiple machines in
sync with each other... with offline synchronization capability. I'm going
to have to save these features for version 2, though.
