what happens if client core-dumps?

Hi,

i recently had troubles with fam if a client program (nautilus)
coredumps while watching a directory. fam keeps looking into it and i
couldn't unmount that resource until i stopped fam. 

is this a bug in fam or a mistake in my setup?
