I tired out fam/dnotify on a debian(2.4.8) system for
a opensource application that I am buliding.

but I can't seem to get fam 2.6.8 w/ dnotify patch w/
SGI::Perl to monitor more than 4000 files recurusive
directory.

I noticed the below thread and reply from Alex but not
sure where to change the 8192 to a greater no, is it
dnotify.c/dnotify.h in kernel tree, but I am not able
to find the any no.(4096/8192/etc) to increase.

Any help is apperciated..thanks in advance
Coin
