I am having a problem with FAM on redhat 7.2, with NFS mounts. The problem
on my machine is that when I mount a NFS share, I can't unmount it, because
it says that it is 'busy'. I run a 'fuser -vm /mnt/testmnt' command and it
tells me that FAM is using it. If I kill the FAM process, then I can
unmount just fine.
The man for FAM said that the -l command line option would disable NSF
polling. Would this fix the problem? Where do I put this -l option? If
that will not fix the problem, can you tell me what else I should try?
Thanks for your help,
Tim Stumpf
