Hi Mark.

This is my first time posting here, so please cc me in any replies.

This patch simply allows one to specify nfs_polling_interval (-t) and
idle_timeout (-T) in fam.conf. It also corrects a minor discrepancy in
usage() that says the default nfs_polling_interval is 3 seconds (it's
supposed to be 6).

Thanks for that. I've filed 2 bugs, in SGI OSS Bugzilla
<URL:http://oss.sgi.com/bugzilla/>, BZ 99 and BZ 100.

I'm trying to make a release really soon now, so I'll fix 99, and will do 100 if there's time. If not, then I'll assess it for a later release.

If there are any problems, please contact me. This is my very first
patch, so I might have made a mistake. I used diff -urN, which seems to
be the freebsd style, and my patch works for the ports system.

The patches that Rusty (the previous maintainer) did used -Naur, which is equivalent to the options you used in this case. I don't really care what the diff type is, but -a is a good idea, as it works better if the original has changed.

Many thanks.
