[fam] work on OSS FAM release

Hi.

I am working on a new release of FAM.  I regret to say that I do not
have safely stored away every patch that was submitted, and would ask
anyone who has submitted a patch to me that they please create a bug in
OSS Bugzilla <URL:http://oss.sgi.com/bugzilla/> and attach any fixes you
have.

Please also note that you will probably need to create an account in OSS
Bugzilla.
