I'm currently looking for non-polling solutions for monitoring
filesystems

FAM is perfect for our Linux/Un*x needs but we also need a solution for
windows.  I was wondering if FAM would detect changes on a vfat (SMB)
mounted filesystem (via Samba).

Comments ?
