Your changes do build OK on IRIX. I have a version 2.6.4 (done last week,
actually; I just never got around to moving it out) which I might be able
to put out today or this weekend; next week if you're happy with your
testing on Solaris I'll include your changes in 2.6.5. (I will probably
mess with the #defines a bit; to conditionally #include sys/mntent.h vs.
mntent.h, I'd rather use a symbol like HAVE_SYS_MNTENT_H than HAVE_SUN.
If I do that, will it be OK if I mail you patches to make sure they still
compile on your box?)

P.S. Just out of curiosity, what was the matter with having variables
named "sun"?
