Hi. I've implemented directory change notification for linux 2.3.99pre8. I've done some light testing, but more eyes are always welcome. I'm not sure that doing the notifications from within vfs_* is the right thing to do; could the filesystem stacking guys take a look? This includes some of the work from Manfred on making kill_fasync SMP-safe. It's unrelated to the imon work done by SGI but serves the same purpose, hence their inclusion. -- Source code, list archive, and docs: http://oss.sgi.com/projects/fam/ To unsubscribe: echo unsubscribe fam | mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxx |
