devfs and redhat 8.0

Has anybody been able to get devfs to work on redhat 8.0?
Are there any tricks that I cannot seem to find?  I got
it working on redhat 7.3 and the same steps, plus many more 
tries, to get it working don't work on redhat 8.0.
