devfs_get_mode?

Hi - 

Wondering if there's a reason that devfs_get_mode() is not implemented?

I'm trying to write a function in the kernel that will look at a
directory in devfs, and find all the block devices under it.  Seems like
some sort of devfs_get_mode() would be needed for this?

Or perhaps I'm missing something simple.  :)
