I have been searching for more info on devfs and raw devices and would appreciate a few pointers. Running devfsd 1.3.25 on 2.4.9 and 2.4.18 kernels does not create /dev/rawctl or associated /dev/raw devices, but raw devices work fine if the device nodes are manually created. Additionally, drivers/char/raw.c does not implement any defvs_*() calls for creating/deleting the device nodes. Is there any plan to support raw devices with devfs? -- Warren Stockton mailto: wns@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
