I've just had a little poke around eith debug2fs and the first thing I
noticed (and I should have figured this) is that there is no /dev/v4l,
but there is a /dev/radio0 and it is indeed owned cmsj.root with
permissions of 600:

debugfs: stat dev/radio0
Inode: 180887 Type: character special Mode: 0600 Flags: 0x0
Generation: 3006163342
User: 500 Group: 0 Size: 0

(500 is the uid for cmsj)

I just don't quite figure how this could be affecting devfs!
