given that LVM creates things like /dev/vg01, e.g.,
1002 : dizzy : lembark $ ls -l /dev/vg01/
total 0
crw-r----- 1 root root 109, 0 Dec 24 15:46 group
brw-rw---- 1 root disk 58, 0 Dec 24 15:48 lvol1
has there been any attempt to integrage the LVM file structure
into devfs? wandering through the on-line doc's didn't show me
anything from either group.
main issues are system startup, where order would make a big
difference. also problems with upgrading, etc, where the
devfsd data might get damaged or forgotten and leave the vg
data lost in space.
