I'm new to devfs. I applied the patch to the Linux 2.2.17 kernel. I'm using
it with the Linux Terminal Server Project. It works great with just two
problems:

Sound still does not work (this an LTSP problem I was hoping devfs would
fix.) The terminals using devfs have SoundBlaster Live! cards, which use the
emu10k1.o module. My /etc/modules.conf file looks like this

alias sound-slot-0 emu10k1
alias /dev/sound emu10k1

I didn't change any of the devfs config files.

AFS (Andrew File System) no longer works. I'm assuming this is because the
necessary /dev entries for afs no longer exist. Is it safe to use mknod to
create this device nodes, or do I need to change my devfs config file?

Any suggestions?
