Attached, I have a patch that adds devfs support for the DAC960 mylex raid controller. I know that you said that the code was a little ugly when we were at ALS, but I thought it could at least be a start to adding the kind of support we need. the patch applies to a 2.2.8 version of the DAC960.c driver and to genhd.c later, -tduffy
