ZIP drive + error at reboot

Hi,

1) I want to mount my parallel zip drive with devfs. Modprobe ppa works and I
get something in /dev/scsi/........ which indicates my zip drive is there.
But I get nothing more then this. I expected something like /dev/sd.... but it
isn't there. How do I mount my zip-drive ?

2) when I reboot my box (redhat7 with 2.4.0-test8) I get some messages saying
that it doesn't automatically unmount some dirs (/  , /dev-state , /proc). I'm
not sure whether this is devfs related. Anyone knows how to solve this ?
