The devfsd documentation is rather poor in my opinion, and rather ambiguous. I would appreciate if someone could tell me how to make devfs keep permissions across reboots. For instance, I want /dev/tts/0 to keep the group tty, and then a group permission of 7. I'd rather not use the tar kludge if possible. And I'm not concerned that the permissions are saved in the old /dev. (that directory could just disappear from my hard drive and I wouldn't care.) --Brian Bock pluribusunum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
